You made it!
Day #5 and the end of Lesson 1...Let's get started.
YOUR TASK FOR TODAY:
YOUR TASK FOR TODAY:
- Check and see how you did this week...there are several exam options depending on age-level and how intensely you are working on this class.
- Distribute Turkey-Awards for the end of the week ceremony.
- Pass out end of the week challenge ribbons.
- Decide whether or not you want to continue with the class. If you do, officially sign up. Even if you don't, you might be interested in our newsletter, which deals with educational topics related to language-learning, science, reading, art, etc. If that's the case, just send us a one-word (or longer) message via the contact form.
EXAM OPTIONS
- PowerPoint situations with written scoring sheet - Great for testing young learners since they don't have to be able to read / write. The answers are built into the PowerPoint, so there's immediate feedback.
- One page core phrases + Matching - Good for if you were only focusing on the core phrases, want a quick and easy exam, or are just dabbling with the class.
- Pure-recall, all the words written test - This is the true challenge-level test.
- Make your own exam - This one is 100% up to you...use your house and your daily life. Help someone and see if they say "Thank you for the help." Offer a drink. Provide a snack. Real life is the true test!
TURKEY-AWARDS
Somewhere in these goofy-awards there should be an award for everyone. Make them smaller if you want by using your printer's dialogue to print multiple pages onto one page.

YOUR MISSION
As always, your mission to use Spanish with your family (and others) as part of your everyday life continues. Decide how many Spanish challenge ribbons your family needs and print them out. Have each person write their name on the back of their ribbons...but don't let them get too attached to them. Their task is to award those ribbons to others in their family who are using Spanish so that by the start of the next lesson (or some other deadline selected by your family) they don't have any of their own ribbons left!
